Not only do the servers have great compatibility with mod support and allow full modpacks to be installed with a click of a button, they then also have tons of guides that help with running the server. I purchased a server for modded minecraft. Unfortunately i underestimated the amount of resources id need. I filed a medium priority ticket and got a reply within 10 minutes. Everything sorted by Adam G. If it wasnt for my error i wouldnt have refunded. They have an excellent panel for managing a minecraft server. absolutely legendary experience. I had a bit of a learning curve since I did not fully understand fabric and so on. But the hardest part was the mods. But now that I understand how it work I realized how easy hyper layer makes it. I would perhaps recomend 2 things. Firstly, making youtube vidoes like Apex hosting explaining why and what you are doing when adding mods. The instructions are great but it is a bit hard to follow along on some parts. And secondly, maybe start doing adds or marketing for south africa. Because the ping is amazing and it's super easy to use. Took me 3 minutes to set up my server. So I genuenly think putting some adds or something of the sort would be great since you will get more clients.

I’ve bought Minecraft servers from them before and the pricing is super cheap, the control panel is easy to use and support is excellent (I’ve asked for assistance on how to do certain things before and they’ve gone out of their way to do it all for me). I am going to be honest. I first got a MC server with another hosting company, his server did not work, when I notify the owner he said I lied and when I asked for a refund he got rude and offended.The same night I got a server with HyperLayer.net. HyperLayer.net MC sever worked and showed up on BattleMetrics and everybody could join. No problems , no quarreling just got a server that worked and it was like a plug in and play. Got the mods installed. HyperLayer.net system was easier on the eyes and easier to understand. Thank you HyperLayer.net for the best server and service. I regret not going with HyperLayer.net in the first place.With experience I can say HyperLayer.net is the best and definitely takes the lead by far with best service, best servers and best support HyperLayer.net 's hardware is also way better...Thank you for not disappointing me and giving me a frustrated free service.

Rented a Rust Server, but since the host is running on a Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 v3 @ 2.50GHz, the server had lag issues. To run Rust you should be on 3.5Ghz or better. The staff are nice enough and responsive to problems with network security. DDoS attacks on a server in the cluster were only slightly inconvenient. The biggest issue is the dated nature of the hardware, and ya'll can't be blamed. I've shopped around, and the Xeon servers are everywhere in South Africa. The problem is they're pretty good for a database server, web servers etc. What they're not good at is something where one or two threads need to run as fast as possible. And the few servers available like that in South Africa are very pricey. Given loadshedding and corruption and crime in South Africa, I also don't expect you to go install more expensive consumer CPU machines to please the game server owners. But the hardware ain't keeping up, it's forcing us to go with private hosting. That's pretty hard for small community servers to do, and that's sad. But so's life.Edit : Reply to the Reply : You are quite right. 123 plugins, and that's cut down from 145. My server setup isn't an easy one to run. It was developed to run on a much faster system, and the fact that I can more or less stay at 20 FPS on a 2.5Ghz processor is impressive in itself, and as you say the South African market is not conducive to investing in new hardware right now. I looked in South Africa for a server that can handle that load, but self hosting isn't an option for me right now, mostly due to not having a robust loadshedding power system. Rust in itself is a hungry game server, and given the *very* modded nature of the server, it would be better on a dedicated server, and that's rather expensive in South Africa. For a normal community server, honestly you guys have the fastest response time, and you care for your customer base, rare in South Africa. I'll happily recommend your services to anyone who wants to run a Vanilla, or lightly modded Rust server, and the rest of the available Rust hosting companies haven't got any better hardware, you're all in the same boat. I'd think about taking the plunge and investing in some Ryzens. Whomever can increase server performance will get people moving to your service, as said before : Your customer service deserves an award.

Quick and helpful service. Had some trouble migrating server files and an admin helped me get it up and running faster than I've been helped at any place I've had servers before. The Server management portal could be a little more user friendly or perhaps I just missed a guide for it but other than that great service, great ping and unlike most things nowadays at a decent price.

The server deployment was incredibly quick. The server control panel is easy to understand and use however, my only complaint is that this panel does occasionally take awhile to load (I don't know if this is an issue on my end). This is a great service to use for twitch. It works very well, I have a super smooth stream everytime. South African streamers need a relay server and the public servers are not guaranteed. Well worth the price.

Old Review:"Although the Server itself runs well, I have had a number of issues. The client does the job but is more complicated to navigate than it needs to be and doesn't facilitate for easy adjustments of things that are essential to the server. Additionally, part of the reason we chose HyperLayer in the first place was for the built-in mod menu for nodding minecraft only to find that although you can one-click install mods, there is no facilitation for running the server on forge and thus you are unable to use the mods that you installed, through the BUILT-IN feature on the client. When I contacted support about this, all they essentially said was that "support for mods is mod offered because mods are too complicated"."I have decided to revisit my review. Hyperlayer responded to my previous review and although there is some truth in what they said I would again call it misleading, this is especially relevant due to the fact that whilst following said tutorial, we were unable to get the server to work.Since my previous review I have spent a significant amount of time using HyperLayer and just in this short time there has been 1 click support for forge added. We have been using a modpack supplied by Hyper Layer on our server and when there have been issues with the modpack itself(ie - not related to HyperLayer), their support has still been really helpful at all hours of the day and has helped me serveral times work out how to fix the issues we were having.

Great service, awesome support! From our stand point: where we were with hosting a ark cluster by another hosting service we could feel the difference day and night, from the get go SHAD0WRAIDERZA (ADAM) was super helpful didnt complain when i asked questions. even before we started hosting SHAD0WRAIDERZA (ADAM) helped by saying what we should do (we thought the cart was broken on the website, but it wasnt) but i mean with something so simple he helped. 10/10 would recommend . thanks from the FTG group <3

Love the game panel feature and support is really quick, servers are high quality with a good fastdl aswell. Only 4 stars because servers can be gittery at times and rarely some connection issues.

Struggled with a few ...
Struggled with a few hosts and connection problems and gave Hyper Layer a shot. They assisted my with getting the servers up and running and the sign up process and its been smooth sailing for almost a month. Also assist quickly when looking for support unlike other hosts that i have waited up to 2 days to just get an email. 10/10 would recommend.

Where to begin.We hosting an up and coming eCommerce platform for the tech industry, and due to the amount of traffic that we receive on a daily basis we turned to Hyper Layer.We cannot be more impressed by their services. Both in VPS performance and the absolute next level service for those little times you just need some support.Absolutely remarkable. Pricing: Reasonable - not expensive not cheap but in terms of market, I believe the pricing is suited right for the services they are offering.2. Support: Support is absolutely phenomenal! Send a message on Discord or ticket system and response is within minutes. I believe Hyperlayer have set the bar in this regard as many over providers either take a standard 24-48 hours to respond or you are charged extra for the "quicker response".3. Performance: As with any provider, there are hiccups however with that said Hyperlayer have been fantastic and run servers on decent hardware. We have had little/no drops and reiterate their website marketing that we have had up time of 99% - this figure is not easy to come by as there are many internal and external/enviromental factors that can give clients/service providers issues/problems that are beyond anyone's control. So well done here Hyperlayer!4. Admin Panel: Hyperlayer use what is called "TCADmin" - one of the most integrated, intuitive and noob-friendly panels that I have ever come across. Although there are options to use 3rd-party tools for FTP, RCon and so forth, you can administrate literally everything from the TCAdmin.5. Other: Hyperlayer have supported us as a community that we have grown to be and built a interpersonal relationship with me to try and best fulfill any needs that I have.Recommendation:I highly recommend Hyperlayer for your server/web/data needs.
